Before you start
Have the title, author name, and a description of the scene or mood ready. Check your available credits and the cost shown for the tool.
Generate a cover
- Open Generate and choose Book Covers.
- Choose an optional style.
- Complete Cover description with the title, author, and visual direction. The starting prompt provides a place for each.
- Select Draw this.
- Review the finished portrait cover in recent generations or Images, then download the result you want.
Expected result
DrawThis creates a portrait cover image. Inspect the title and author lettering at full size, along with the composition and readability.
Troubleshooting
If the text or layout needs revision, use Regenerate where available and give specific feedback. Keep the original while comparing variations. This workflow produces a cover image; use your publishing service's requirements to prepare any final print layout, dimensions, spine, or bleed.
